Sedimentation tank drain troughs

The drain troughs are designed to drain clarified water from radial- and horizontal-flow sedimentation tanks. The flow of clarified water is poured into the drain trough from the sedimentation tank and undergoes further process stages of treatment provided for at the treatment facilities.

The trough design can be one-sided (wall-side trough) or two-sided (remote trough), as well as radial (for radial-flow sedimentation tanks) or horizontal (for horizontal-flow sedimentation tanks).

The drain troughs are made of metal according to the drawings of the Customer or according to the calculations of Ecopolymer specialists. Such troughs do not get coated with sludge; they are easy to install, have high mechanical strength and long service life.

Radial troughs are supplied by sectors. On site, they are installed on the jambs and connected with each other by welding with the required radius.

Horizontal troughs can be supplied either by sectors or as assembly – based on the total length of the trough (transport dimensions).

At the request of the Customer, jambs with all fittings can be included in the delivery set.

All our troughs and jambs are made of AISI 304 stainless steel (optionally AISI 316) or galvanized carbon steel (hot-dip galvanizing).

Comb spillways

The comb spillway is designed to ensure an even distribution of water along the length of the catchment and equalize the hydraulic load between the sedimentation tanks operating in the same group.

Comb spillways are made of stainless steel or special sheet plastic, resistant to ultraviolet and low temperatures.

Comb spillways can be installed both on the concrete and metal drain trough of the sedimentation tank. The delivery package of comb spillways includes all fasteners necessary for the corresponding installation operations.  

Installing the comb spillways onto a concrete trough significantly increases the service life of the trough edges.

Semisubmersible board

The semisubmersible board is designed to prevent floating substances from entering the drain trough of the sedimentation tanks and is mounted on brackets to the side of the spillway trough.

Semisubmersible boards are made of stainless steel or special sheet plastic, resistant to ultraviolet and low temperatures.

The delivery package of the semisubmersible board includes all fasteners necessary for the corresponding installation operations; also, the corresponding brackets can be manufactured and supplied optionally. Brackets are manufactured according to the drawings of the Customer or according to the calculations of Ecopolymer specialists.

Reflecting bowl coating

Coating of the reflecting bowl is made of stainless steel or special sheet plastic, resistant to ultraviolet and low temperatures.

The delivery package of the reflecting bowl coating includes all fasteners necessary for the corresponding installation operations; also, the corresponding stainless steel frame of the reflecting bowl can be manufactured and supplied optionally. The reflecting bowl frame is manufactured according to the drawings of the Customer or according to the calculations of Ecopolymer specialists.
