Shut-off and control valves
Shut-off and control valves as the title shows are used for the control of the flow of liquid (sewage, active sludge, sludge mixture), and regulation and measurement of its flow rate.
The basic operating principle of the valves is based on equipping a closed space (channel) with a metal shield stopping the free flow of liquid. The shield is equipped with a positioning device and, if necessary, it is possible to change the position of the shield relative to the bottom of the channel, thereby increasing or decreasing the flow of liquid in the channel - from the closed position to the free flow.
